Three free sessions in Rome’s 5th Municipality
Accessing an artificial intelligence platform does not automatically mean knowing how to use its full potential. To obtain useful, reliable results that are consistent with one’s objectives, skills, awareness and critical thinking are required: from understanding how it works to formulating questions, right through to reflecting on ethical, creative and educational aspects.
With this aim in mind, “Beyond the Keyboard” has been launched, a series of three free sessions promoted by Roma Tre University and Fondazione Mondo Digitale, under the patronage of the 5th Municipality, as part of the DIGA. Sustainable Ecosystem for Training and Guidance project.
The programme is aimed at the educational community and offers a local professional development opportunity to explore the mindful use of AI, improve digital skills and promote a correct and responsible approach within the school community. The initiative forms part of the Rome-based strand of the DIGA project, dedicated to holistic sustainability and robotics, with activities involving students, teachers, parents and the local community.
The sessions will take place at the Casa della Cultura, 17 Via S. Marcellino, Rome, from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm.

The Fund for the Digital Republic is a partnership between the public sector and the social private sector (the Government and the Association of Foundations and Savings Banks – Acri), which operates within the framework of the digitalisation objectives set out in the PNRR and the PNC and is funded by contributions from banking foundations, which are granted a tax credit. The Fund selects and supports training and digital inclusion projects for various population groups, such as NEETs, women, the unemployed and those not in employment, workers at risk of unemployment due to automation, employees, collaborators and volunteers of social economy organisations, students in lower and upper secondary schools, and prisoners. The aim is to assess the impact of the supported training projects and replicate those deemed most effective on a larger scale, so as to provide best practices to the Government for use in shaping future national policies.
