Back in Lecce

Programme Future Recoded is back in Lecce to improve the digital skills of young men and women, but this time they training session will be held in the Municipality of Nardò, at the IIS Nicola Moccia School managed by Headmaster Maria Rosa Però.

The course will be held by Coach Vito Lucatorto, MSP Team Leader, while the works will be coordinated by Professor Clara Magli Carrozzo.

The educational relay continues after the stop at IIS Salvemini-Alessano in Lecce, the school managed by Headmaster Chiara Florinda Vantaggiato. Last Friday, Coach Giuseppe Cramarossa, Microsoft Student Partner, introduced a series of concepts with the help of Eros Zotti:

  • Cloud computing and Azure
  • Creating a blog with Wordpress
  • Creating apps and web-hosted apps with App Studio
  • Touch Develop and Microsoft Virtual Academy

"The fifty students were curious and excited to put the knowledge they acquired into practice,” explains Coach Giuseppe. "It was extremely satisfying to see how eager the students were, as we live in a world of rapidly advancing technology. It is important for youth to keep abreast of this progress and have the tools and knowledge that is necessary to keep learning and make the necessary choices to always be up-to-date and ready for the job market.”

Project Future ReCoded (March 2016 - February 2017), financed by Microsoft YouthSpark and Fondazione Cariplo, and coordinated by the Fondazione Filarete, aims to provide greater professional opportunities for thousands of Italian students through the practice and development of digital and technological skills.
