The final video for the 2020 edition of Class Collection is now on-line!

"During this particular year, there has been an even greater need for schools to hold courses that bring together culture and art in an innovative manner, through participatory, creative processes, as tools for growth, integration and civic education,” explains the Fondazione Pastificio Cerere, lead project partner, on their Facebook page.

In the video, there also are voices and images that describe the contribution of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with its digital manufacturing lab.

Happy viewing!

"Class Collection" is a project organised by the Fondazione Pastificio Cerere to promote education on contemporary art in schools. The project was conceived and organised by Marcello Smarrelli with Claudia Cavalieri and Emanuela Pigliacelli. This is a long-term experimental process aiming to provide schools with a collection of contemporary art works.

From September 2019 to October 2020, the Rome Istituto Piaget-Diaz experimented with a special edition thanks to funding from the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism as part of the "School Activates Culture" Call. The project involved a regenerative process for the involved urban neighbourhoods, starting with the school, creating cultural and social meeting points for all citizens. The partners of this special edition are Fondazione Pastificio Cerere, Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Artkademy con Ivan Tresoldi, Laboratorio 53 con Guide Invisibili, orizzontale, Leonardo Petrucci.
