Project Artists’ Work continues to bring media art to the Dogana Area at the City of Milan Informagiovani. Today, Valentino Catricalà, Artistic Director of the Media Art Festival will host a meeting dedicated to “Art for the Good of the Economy.”
The appointment is from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm at Via Dogana 2 for students from the Scuola Arte & Messaggio and classes 4 and 5 from IIS Marelli-Dudovich in Milan.
The meeting will address the relation between art and technology from a new perspective to search for a new interpretation of visual arts. In particular, it will define the basic concepts of media art to understand how artists work with technology to open new routes to market, production and artistic promotion. This is how new job opportunities are created.
What market suits media art? Who are the system players? What professions does it involve? How do we create new knowledge and competences? An answer to these new challenges will be provided in the final part of the meeting.
