It’s hard to imagine what can’t be done in an Innovation Gym!
Yesterday, on a serene autumn afternoon, all kinds of things happened in a calm, fun and enthusiastic atmosphere.
The various areas in the Innovation Gym (Fab Lab, Ideation Room, Robotics Centre and Activity Space) were packed with people of all ages.

One of the owners of the Antica Sartoria Borghetti brought the first complete prototype pantsuit embellished with wooden elements created in the Fab Lab to go over the final details. The suit was tried on by Mirta Michilli, Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
In the meantime, children of all ages were visiting the Innovation Gym Robotics Centre with their families and began to learn about the various kits available for Educational Robotics, from Bee Bot to NXT. The most experience children helped the younger ones to explore a range of possible activities.
Ginevra, who is 7 years old, took just over half an hour with the help of her 11-year-old brother Emanuele to build and programme a small, famished alligator built with Lego bricks that can open its mouth.

In the Agora Area, the World Robotics Champions and programmer friends from other schools, worked on the play strategies for the demos they will hold at the Rome Maker Faire (October 3-5, Auditorium Parco della Musica).
The Innovation Gym is a strategic model for the development of education. It is an area that allows visitors to develop Life Education skills (knowledge, competences and values) and practice open innovation to plan changes based on the principles of social innovation to confront the crucial challenges of the 21st century, starting from youth unemployment and the NEET phenomenon.
The Innovation Gym is in Rome at Via del Quadraro 102 in the Tuscolano Area. Come and see us!
