Contrasting school dropouts and creating inclusive and responsible communities to promote the education of adolescents and pre-adolescents is the objective of the “The Future in their Hands” fundraising campaign promoted by the FS Italiane Rail Group for ActionAid Italia.
Until Sunday, January 7, 2019, two hundred FS Italy and ActionAid volunteers will promote the campaign on regional and “Frecce” high-speed trains, illustrating its objectives and selling “Altromercato” chocolate bars for a minimum €3 donation. The funds will be used for Project OpenSpace, which, over the course of four years, will involve 4000 students from 12 first and second-degree secondary schools in areas with a high dropout rate in Milan, Bari, Reggio Calabria and Palermo, as well as 1600 parents and 500 teachers.
