The Ageing Well European Network is a reference point for issues concerning new technologies and digital inclusion. It aims to unite the community of actors interested in improving the lives of the elderly by promoting the circulation of new ICT solutions for elderly individuals on the market. The eighth issue of its monthly newsletter presents its new member: the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
The FMD has been working for many years in the fields of active citizenship and the digital literacy of over-sixties with a range of national and European programmes. It has also developed a best practice: The Knowledge Volunteers (a two-year programme financed by the European Commission) that involves 7 European partners and has created a unique Network of Knowledge Volunteers.
