Spring is on its way and brings new activities by Roman schools in favour of twinned institutes in Fontem as part of Project Digital Bridge. A Technological Bridge with Cameroon. After the Tullio Levi Civita Scientific Lyceum, the Immanuel Kant School has hosted a music and food event for Tuesday, March 29 at 4 pm.
And it’s not just a school party. The meaning of this event surpasses the ludic-didactic boundaries of the Kant Institute and reaches beyond in an ideal joyous and virtual embrace to the students of the twinned school of GBHS in Menji, in the Region of Fontem, Cameroon. In fact, the money raised during the party will be used to create scholarships that the Kant School will provide to students from the twinned school.
The students will provide the music: 27 choir members and 8 soloists that will perform famous songs ranging from classical music to rock via John Lennon.
After the concert, a gastronomic competition will be held to judge the foods prepared by students, teachers and parents.
Music, education to development, solidarity, gastronomy, cooperation, didactics and the right to study: it’s the springtime of Project Digital Bridge!
