Today, Thursday April 3, the first Roman LEIS (Lego Education Innovation Studio) at the Città Educativa in via del Quadraro will host designers from Class 4C at the Istituto comprensivo Via dell’Archeologia, accompanied by school administrator Cristina Tonelli.

The children will use the Lego WeDo construction kit to create and programme simple Lego models connected to a computer.

The laboratory, coordinated by young engineer Mohamed Gaber Haiba, allows students to experiment with manual didactics, find creative alternative solutions and work in a group.

In particular, the Lego WeDo constructions promote the development of:
   Manual abilities
   Relationship skills
   Mathematics, Italian and Science knowledge
   Transversal skills

From First Courses and Interactive Games (ebook): how to use the WeDo kit.

The laboratories are open every day, except Wednesdays, through June 2014.
