The "Attain Cultural Integration through Teachers’ Conflict Resolution Skills Development: The ACCORD Project” Is available online. The publication has been edited by the universities participating in the European project: Federico II University of Naples (lead partner), University of Barcelona (Spain), Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nurnberg (Germany), University of Vienna (Austria) and University of Antwerp (Belgium).

 

The article was published on the Qwerty magazine of the CKBG Association, A forum for the discussion of the use of technology in educational contexts considering cultural, social, pedagogic, psychological, economic and professional aspects.

 

The article presents the distance learning model designed for Project Accord to promote an inclusive and intercultural educational approach and develop the ability to resolve conflicts. the strong point of the model is learning based on scenarios (SBL) integrated with any learning system. This has created a flexible tool that allows training of relational skills and competences with a pleasing and exciting learning methodology.

 

The objective of the project is to help secondary school teachers in 5 European countries (Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain) to adopt an active position against intercultural conflicts at school. The article presents the objectives of Project Accord, highlights the theoretical framework at the basis of its development, the employed methodologies and the main results achieved.
