The Fondazione Lars Magnus Ericsson and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale are bringing 5G, IoT and cloud robotics to Italian schools to experiment, together with students, how to interconnect objects, data and individuals to bring services and benefits to their local contexts. Project #5G4SCHOOL addresses secondary school students in Rome and Milan with a training, orientation and enterprise programme.
RomeCup 2019 (April 2-5) will host the final project phase with an area dedicated to the prototypes developed during the Phyrtual Factory, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale Youth Accelerator. The project will end with an elevator pitch challenge amongst students, evaluated by a jury, and a final awards ceremony [see other projects related to RomeCup 2019].
