This morning, the Robotics Centre at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym attends students from year six at the Istituto comprensivo Antonio Rosmini in Rome.
Boys and girls aged 10-11 will be helped by Engineer Mohamed Gaber Haiba to discover the wide potential of Lego Mindstorms NXT, a system of smart bricks that can be programmed in open source.
The kit contains:
• A 32 bit NXT smart brick with a rechargeable battery
• 500-element robust construction system
• 3 interactive servo-motors with integrated encoders
• Ultrasound distance sensors
• Sound sensor
• Light sensor
• Pressure sensor
The laboratories at the Robotics Centre are open every day except for Wednesday until June 2015.
