33 Finalists for Telemouse 3.0 Award

An unusual formula led to the designation of 33 finalists for the first edition of the Telemouse 3.0 - Knowledge Volunteers Award nominated via 300 applications by all those involved in the digital literacy project for elderly promoted by Telecom Italia and FMD.
Coordinating teachers, school administrators, elderly center presidents and elder students delineated the profiles. Patience, competence, generosity and availability were some of the characteristics in common exhibited by the many young knowledge volunteers aged 12-20. What a tough job choosing the winners of the two scholarships! Four evaluation criteria were employed to reach the final selection:

1.Constance and continuity within the project
2.Motivation and passion - not just presence, but also enthusiasm, interest, reliability, relationship building with peers and elders.
3.Enterprise – taking the initiative, creativity, communication and problem solution.
4.Innovation – accepting challenges, looking to the future and wanting to change the world.

These four criteria lead to the selection of the 33 finalists that received awards today. Winners of Telemouse 3.0 Awards:
