A debate amongst youth, operators, animators, and coaches.
From today to Saturday (Sept. 16-21), the town of Catadau, in Spain, will host an important event for Project 2030 Youth Vision. Youth, youth workers, and coaches from various European countries, who have already participated in previous project activities, will meet for a week of training and debate.
The initiative will represent an important opportunity to share and review the methodologies that were adopted in the active citizenship labs, developed to raise awareness and mobilitate local communities to work towards the Sustainable Development Objectives (SDGs) of the Agenda 2030. Through debates and the exchange of good practices, participants will discuss how to improve the impact of the awareness raising activities and stimulate collective action on crucial issues such as equality, environment, education, and sustainability.
The meetings will explore innovative techniques to involve communities with a special focus on strategic communication and the use of digital tools to publicise messages and promote civil commitment. The final objective is to strengthen the skills of participants so that they may work towards a more sustainable and inclusive future in their own communities.
The event is a fundamental step towards the development of a European network of young leaders committed to promoting social change and the SDGs through exhange, cooperation, and action.
