Is it possible to already talk about the mediverse, about areas of medicine, such as virtual hospitals or interactive training spaces, in the metaverse? Thanks to the immersive, interactive, multi-user environment, a richer future for training in the medical field, new frontiers for operating rooms, safety for professionals, greater quality, precision, speed, and humanization of care at home could be achieved in just a few years’ time. On October 11, at the National Congress of the Italian Society for Simulation in Medicine, we will explore this new technological frontier and its possible applications, directly from the Metaverse.
