The project, started in Spain in 2006 and now operative in Italy, too, thanks to the Fondazione Mario Moderni, a moral agency that includes the Lazio Region and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs amongst its memebers. Europocket TV broadcasts will begin on Monday, December 13.

The Roman newsdesk is composed by a group of young 20-30 year olds who have selected Project TeleMouse, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Telecom Italia, as the subject of their first report.

The report was filmed at the Opificio Telecom, during the presentation of the

TeleMouse 3.0 Award – Knowledge Volunteers, sponsored by the Ministry of Youth.

Helped by a camerman and another colleague, Marco, the youngest reporter, conducted the interviews. The three young reporters chosen for the Roman newsdesk are all about 25. Candidatures are coming in from around Italy.

Marco’s first interview was with Professor Emeritus Tullio De Mauro. The camera then turned to film the voices of the many protagonists and the young tutors from primary schools.

Their first report will be broadcast when the network kicks off on Monday!
