For the fifth year in a row, the social promotion association Bambini+Diritti has hosted ten children from the Saharawi refugee camps. The young ambassadors of peace arrived on June 26 and left on August 21st.
During their stay, they underwent important medical checkups and learnt about a different reality. The main objective of the project is to shed light on the dramatic situation of a population that has been living in exile for over 35 years.
The Saharawi are a peaceful people and have decided not to use any form of violence to make their reasons manifest, notwithstanding the wall of silence and indifference that has surrounded them.
