In March, they won the 4th International City of Rome Robotics Trophy and are now in Singapore from June 19 to 25 giugno, to compete for the World Title with 50 other teams from 21 countries.
The students from Isip Da Vinci in Arcidosso (Grosseto) and Itis Calvino in Genoa will compete in the RoboCup Junior Rescue A Secondary category with their Leonardo and TurboA teams.
The protagonists will be rescue robots programmed to act in emergency situations: from earthquakes to terrorist attacks. The robots traverse rubble, climb stairs and use special sensors to idetnfiy victims. Rescue Robots can work together with human emergency teams in dangerous situations.
