Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Telecom Italia present TeleMouse, a programme to promote digital literacy and introduce the elderly to new ICT tools through an inter-generational didactic model. The presentation will be held today at 11 am at the Castro Pretorio - Sallustiano Elderly Centre.
This new didactic formula, which is a spin-off from the Grandparents on the Internet Project, pairs retired Telecom technicians and other seniors as experts to student tutors. The computer labs of schools and internet points at elderly centres will teach senior citizens to use PCs, navigate the web and become familiar with new e-government services and communication tools.
Keyboards, mice, webcams and DVB decoders will become as easy to use as telephones!
