In order to overcome the digital divide that hinders over-sixties from taking advantage of new technology, a national digital literacy programme for elders Grandparents on the Internet: a click for togetherness kicks off. Students from all levels and types of schools will tutor the elders.
The Memorandum of Understanding is based on the right to continuous learning, which is also the focus of the popular law bill promoted by Spi-Cgil, Auser, Federazione Lavoratori Conoscenza Cgil and Sindacato Pensionati Italiani Cgil with the objective of doubling the number of adults in training courses over the next three years.
