Students in all the departments of the University of Tor Vergata make use of Universitor.it This is the only experience of this kind in Rome and possibly all of Italy. Its aim is to fill the gaps left empty by institutional channels in terms of information and orientation.
Davide Vitelli, the president of the Universitor non-profit association, proudly recounts the compliments received from a professor who said “After all, you really are the forefathers of the social networks…” Davide is happy to speak about how the project developed over the years: not only about its services, but also about the ironic sections that collect the “bloopers” of students and teachers.
In fact, the site functions not only as a support service to the official University of Tor Vergata portal, Davide explains, but also as a common, independent space for the organization of events ranging from music to professional training.
