In the photo, the delivery of PCs to the Elderly Centre of Villa Leopardi in the II District of Rome.
The operation was not simple … the recycled and regenerated PCs came from both Rome and Milan. A long trip from the desks of the prestigious oil company to the tables of the elderly centres.
The Eni Foundation joined the campaign to recycle PCs from large companies launched by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. Moreover, thanks to the agreement signed last September, besides donating the computers, the Foundation will also finance the total installation costs of the Internet corners, including Internet connections for the first year.
Meanwhile, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, which manages and coordinates all operations, will train export senior navigators, all more than sixty years old.
