Recently, it has been all over the news: “seventeen million Italians are ashamed about how much they ate over the Christmas holidays”. Every year, after the festivities, adults rush to loose the weight they have put on by overeating…
In the meantime, there are students in the schools of Rome that learn to eat healthily throughout the year, choosing nutritious and salubrious foods. Amongst these schools, there is even one that produces a historical Gallic wine by cultivating precious grapevines right in the centre of Rome at Trinità dei Monti.
If you’d like to taste some gastronomic and didactic curiosities, click on the on-line learning environment and select “Nourishment”. The experience of the only enological school in Lazio, the Istituto tecnico agrario Sereni, is documented in the Enterprise and Environment section.
