The first three hours of the seminar will be held on November 24 at a branch of the Istituto tecnico Pacinotti School in via Pasquariello. Following a second three-hour session scheduled on December 1, the seminar will conclude with a sixteen-hour didactic programme on robot programming. The activities will be coordinated by three professors and student-tutors from the Pacinotti Institute who will be present in the various schools participating in the project for the entire length of the experimental to help the younger students.
Six Roman schools participate in this initial seminar: SMS Majorana, SMS Di Liegro, IC Piva e IC Levi as well as ITIS Armellini and ITIS Fermi.
The teacher who will conduct the training course, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, is Prof. Rodolfo Falcioni from the Istituto tecnico industriale e liceo scientifico tecnologico Antonio Pacinotti, a pilot school in the experimentation of the Robodidactics Programme.

The study of robotics in school is not a separate discipline; rather, it is a method to use for working and exploring the world that is transversal to various different subjects. It develops students’ interest and passion for scientific subjects, as the students learn through a hands-on approach. The study methodology experimented with Robodidactics has given excellent results even with students who disliked technology. It has been proven that in the countries that use a playful didactic approach to the teaching of science, a greater number of university students opt for scientific and technological disciplines.
