Fifteen students participated in the seminar dedicated to Future Scenarios: Climate and Energy Scenarios promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei which was held in Rome at the headquarters of Arpa Lazio, the regional agency for environmental protection.
The students from the Salvo d’Acquisto and the Istituto comprensivo Uruguay middle schools viewed the “An Inconvenient Truth” documentary by Al Gore. This was followed by a debate between the students and experts including, Massimo Frezzotti, a climate and glacier export from Enea and Carlo Ossola from the National Antarctic Museum.
The next appointment, which will also focus on the Antarctic and climactic change, is scheduled for November 11, 2008
