A donation for innovation and equity

Recognition of the TRED High School by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale

At the start of the new school year, students at Liceo TRED. Applied Sciences for Ecological and Digital Transition, promoted by Elis, chose to make a donation to Fondazione Mondo Digitale, recognising its commitment to promoting inclusion and technological innovation for social purposes. A symbolic but concrete gesture that speaks of the future and shared responsibility.

At the inaugural event, which involved over 1,500 students and 500 teachers connected online, the students were invited to take a short test to discover their “sustainable soul”. Most identified with the figure of the Digital Innovator, a sign of a growing awareness of technology as a tool for equity and participation.

In keeping with this spirit, the students were able to choose which organisation to donate the project's symbolic donation to. The preference went to the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, a choice that confirms the new generations' focus on reducing the digital divide and building an inclusive future.

Liceo TRED: educating for transition

Liceo TRED was created to train young people to live through and lead the digital and ecological transition. It is a four-year course that combines the tradition of the Italian scientific high school with the technical, scientific and humanistic skills necessary to face the challenges of the future.

Young people choosing the future

The donation of the TRED High School is a sign of trust and shared responsibility on the part of the younger generations towards the digital transformation of the country. It is a gesture that unites two common visions, that of ELIS and that of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, both of which are oriented towards promoting innovation, equity and sustainability through continuous education.
