This year, the RomeCup 2013 – Excellence in Robtoics in Rome provided stduents from around Italy with the opportunity to meet Zucchetti Centro Sistemi Spa and participate in the selection of 50 candidates that will spend a day in the company and have the opportunity to become future robot technicians.
 
Candidates
Eligible candidates are students from any Italian region who fulfill the following three criteria:
1. New graduates in scientific subjects (especially robotics-related sectors)
2. no older than 26
3. have a passion for Robotics and Mechatronics
 
The Initiative
The initiative is divided into three separate parts. During the initial evaluation and selection phase, 50 candidates will be selected to participate in the company day. The second day is the Zucchetti Day event itself. Finally, the best candidates will be chosen for internal training and possible job placement in Zucchetti retailers around Italy.
 
Objective
Allow students to come into contact with the working world and develop the Regional Poles for Robotics that Zucchetti is developing throughout Italy.
 
To Participate
To participate in the Zucchetti Day, you have to send your CV to info@romecup.org, no later than April 23, 2013. Late candidatures will be rejected.
Optional: besides a CV, students can send a PowerPoint or short video (max 3 minutes) to introduce themselves and emphasize items such as skills in the field of Robotics/ why select me/ my future projects.
 
 
Company Day Selection
A committee of Zucchetti experts will select the best-suited 50 profiles. The 50 selected students will be invited to participate in the Zucchetti Day at their headquarters in Arezzo (Tuscany).
This is a concrete opportunity that shows how the labour market and students can come into contact when they are truly educated for the professions of the future.
