Students will receive the tools to make a conscientious and responsible use of new communications means and digital tools to develop their critical reasoning, their awareness of the risks connected to the use of social media and the web and contrast hate speech [see MIUR: Guidelines for Teaching Civic Education (in Italian)].

The Fondazione Mondo Digitale is organising a teacher-training course based on six modules dedicated to civic education at school with a specific focus on digital citizenship. The course will also address other crucial issues to help students manage integrated digital didactics and face the “on-life” dimension with greater awareness.

Participants who complete the 15-hour course will receive a certification, which is also available for individual modules.
