Elena Cerbara, 27 years old and from Rome, is studying to become a Cloud Platform Engineer. She currently is a coach at the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and has been working on Project Ambizione Italia for Youth: “I chose to become a coach as I was certain it would be a nice professional and personal experience. You meet many different people, learn to work as part of a tema and teaching is always a way of learning.”
Given her commitment and capabilities, FMD gave Elena the opportunity to follow an orientation course with three one-hour-and-a-half sessions that allowed her to pass the interview and be selected for a 200-hour course: the Experis Academy for "Cloud Platform Engineers," developed by Microsoft Italia and Experis.
“The Fondazione Mondo Digitale submitted my name for the orientation course. I didn’t even know what cloud computing was before. I studied Mathematics and took a few computer science courses, but I never really looked into it. When I had the opportunity to do so, however, I was fascinated and honoured to have been chosen for the academy. My baggage of experience and knowledge is growing daily. I am building my future, step by step.”
