WiT in Naples

Project Women in Technology, promoted by the Costa Crociere Foundation and coordinated locally by Cecilia Stajano, continues its educational activities.

 

Today, the project will be at the Naples IIS Marie Curie, the school manged by Headmistress Patrizia Porretta. The young women will participate in activities from 9 am to 6 pm, under the supervision of Computer Science Teacher Hernest Abate. The activities will be held by start-upper Coach Cecilia Lalatta Costerbosa.

 

Project Women in Technology (acronym: WIT), promoted by the Costa Crociere Foundation, addresses 150 young women in Campania, Calabria and Sicily to prevent the NEET Phenomenon and create new employment opportunities.

 

Alice, 16, is a student at IIS Camillo Finocchiaro Aprile, another school participating in the project. Her dream is to start her own enterprise and she believes that Women in Technology is the best way to begin her future career.
