The New Moon, a London-based agency, has been filming in Scampia for Microsoft to document the project that won the Meet no Neet competition. The Scampia story is the only Italian part of the YouthSpark video collage that will report on the nine winning projects. The protagonist is Lorenzo Dente, who together with his class received the award in Milan.
Itis Galileo Ferraris in Naples, in fact, placed second with the “Clean Up and Innovate” social innovation project in the Meet No Neet Competition, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in collaboration with Microsoft, Roma Capitale and schools to reward social innovation and entrepreneurship projects that focus on local needs.
Headmaster Alfredo Fiore has sent the Fondazione Mondo Digitale a letter to communicate a different idea of Naples: Welcome to Scampia in Naples [pdf]
