This Week’s Schedule

For many regions, today marks the beginning of the last week of the school year. And it’s the fourteenth week of distance learning since the lockdown was declared for the health emergency. Even most extra-curricular projects are nearing their end and will not start up again before September. However, teacher training continues. We would like to remind all school administrators that they can book help desk activities for their schools to help those who have less experience with digital devices..

 

Besides the webinar schedule, we are also sharing information about two very different projects that are both related to the health emergency and the social innovation challenge.

 

The first, promoted by Lazio Innova, presents the Virtual Reality Contest, part of Project Scouting the Future (Wednesday, June 3, 4:30-5:30 pm): What technology would you like to see adopted to counter the Covid-19 Emergency? The answers of robotics and innovation experts.

 

In the second event, promoted with the American Embassy in Rome, the finalists, students presenting projects as part of Project Ro-LAB - Rome Live Art Lab, will showcase their works to a jury of experts on Friday, June 5 from 10:00 – 11:30 am. Schools that worked on the issue of urban regeneration have also been asked to review their projects in the context of the lockdown.

 

Last week’s sessions were followed by:

• 736 students
• 239 teachers
• 56 parents
• 325 youth, adults and over-60s
• 591 views for the 6th appointment of “Maestri d’Italia”
