Today, Monday, April 12, marks the return to school for 6.5 million students: 77% of the 8.5 million students in public and officially recognised private schools: nearly eight out of ten students according to the estimate of Tuttoscuola. Slightly less than 5.5 million of the youngest children attend kindergarten or primary school, including those in regions categorized as “red.” Our commitment continues to provide schools and the educational community with support, either on-line or in blended mode, throughout the pandemic.
This week, virtual labs will be organised by the following projects: Ambizione Italia for Youth, Coding Girls, Coding Girls in Turin, Factor J, Health4U, OpenSPACE, Social Hosting Hub, Fully Enjoy the Internet.
Some labs will be held in presence for OpenSPACE in Phyrtual Innovation Gyms in participating schools.
Service projects involving all citizens to improve digital, functional and soft skills include Ambizione Italia for Youth (COL users), Starting Back Up Together, Job Digital Lab and School of Internet for Everyone.
Live events include the third appointment with the role modelling sessions organised as part of the intergenerational campaign organised by Coding Girls: "My Future? It’s Up to Me!". The protagonists of the next meeting are Annamaria Arcese and Patrizia Davanti.
The second webinar with Ornella Sprizzi, content creator, entrepreneur and mother of four children, is dedicated to parents and will address how to use technology with common sense. The appointment is on Thursday, April 15 at 2 pm on Zoom to learn more about how to avoid falling for fake news.
