This week coaches from the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will be running four hi-tech summer camps for children aged 6-12, three in Rome and one in Milan [see news: A Fashionable Summer Camp and Super Powers and AI].

 

Tomorrow, the “Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science and Coding Summer Camps” will begin at the Istituto comprensivo Marcello Mastroianni as part of Project "A Mid-Summer STEM Dream," which won the "Learn STEM in the Summer" Call promoted by the Department of Equal Opportunities.

 

Programme Vagone FMD at Binario F will also hold summer schools for teachers and continuous learning courses for MSD Italia employees. And Programme Ambizione Italia for Schools will continue hosting labs on artificial intelligence for teachers.

 

Next Thursday, June 20, is World Refugee Day. We will be present with the “I Am There” event on five football pitches in Milan, Rome, Bari, Reggio Calabria and Palermo, playing together with students, migrants and association workers.

 

Also on June 20, after the exciting experience at Altaroma, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Susan G. Komen Italia will bring wearable technology and sustainable fashion to the European Capital of Culture for an evening of charity as part of the “Race for the Cure,” dedicated to fighting breast cancer.

 

On Friday, June 21 giugno, WeZum, the International Youth Observatory of the “Pontificia Scholas Occurrentes” Foundation, in collaboration with Time4Child, has organised an online conference against bullying and cyberbullying. The conference is entitled #StopCyberbullyingDay – 24h Scholas Talks.
