The third week of Project Grandparents on the Internet at the Post Office, promoted by Poste Italiane is currently underway in six pilot cities.
The courses are currently being held in Ascoli, Asti, Mantua, Naples, Palermo and Rome. Starting in September, the programme will be extended throughout Italy.

Grandparents on the Internet at the Post Office was developed to help elders learn more about how to use the web and modern communication technology. Poste Italiane, the Italian Postal Service, opted for the Grandparent on the Internet Model designed by Fondazione Mondo Digitale to promote the digital literacy pilot project in post offices around the country [see news: "Grandparents at Post Offices"].
