Giulia, eighteen years old, just graduated high school and will now study cultural heritage studies at university.
At school, Giulia discovered Project “Grandparents on the Internet” and volunteered as a tutor for a seventy-year-old pensioner. Notwithstanding her experience as a digital coach, Giulia has never “considered herself very knowledgeable about digital devices.” She discovered coding last Tuesday at the Coding Girls “Train the Trainers” event. Project Coding Girls is promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the American Embassy in Rome in collaboration with Microsoft [see news A Summer of Coding].
Now, Giulia is ready to explain how to programme with Scratch to anyone, young and old alike.
