From Verbania to Leipzig

Over the past days, before leaving for Germany, Team “Mega Hertz” has worked relentlessly to perfect the robots that will compete in Leipzig in the Soccer Open League category.

Robot “Viper III,” in fact, was designed and developed for RoboCup2016, the 21st edition of the Robotics World Championships.

The robots’ name, Mega Hertz, was inspired by famous Italian scientist Guglielmo Marconi’s radio waves. The team is composed by four students on the Electronics and IT Programme at the Istituto Lorenzo Cobianchi in Verbania and two partners from the Elettra Robotics Lab Association in Domodossola. The team is chaperoned by Prof Raimondo Sgrò.

Here are all the members of the team that will compete today in Leipzig. Good luck to all!
