First in presence project meeting for the 12 partners
The Madrid Carlos III university is hosting the first in presence meeting for European Project Trust aWare.
"We are discussing the technical state of development of our tool to improve security and privacy and on how to involve citizens – from minors to senior citizens – in co-projecting activities over the coming months," explains Project Manager Annaleda Mazzucato, Project Coordinator for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
"Other issues that will be discussed include the methodology and tools designed to involve citizens in testing. The results will be used to evaluate the efficacy of the system in terms of user needs as the objective is to develop a product to help all citizens use the Internet safely.”
"In Italy, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, in parallel with other partners in other countries, is developing a course and will soon kick off an awareness-raising campaign on the risks to privacy and security related to the use of digital devices,” added Annaleda.
Students, young men and women, parents, senior citizens and all other citizens interested in participating in these educational events and the co-design testing should contact corsi@mondodigitale.org
