Double appointment for Class 2A from the Istituto comprensivo Viale dei Consoli: chaperoned by Prof. Graziella Massariello, the students will work at the Robotics Centre in the Rome Phyrtual Innovation Gym both today and tomorrow.
After experimenting with the Lego Mindstorms NXT Kit and assembling the robot, the students will work on programming it with the help of Engineer Mohamed Gaber Haiba. Educational Robotics addresses the transversal skills necessary to provide students with the ability to learn throughout the course of their lives. The student is pat the centre of the educational process and “builds” his own learning.
The Lego Mindstorms NXT Kit, in fact, allows students to create an infinite number of robots that can be programmed both in an essential manner or work with a more sophisticated sensor-based set of instructions.
The laboratories at the Robotics Centre are open every day except for Wednesday from 9:30 to 12:30 am at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Robotics Centre in via del Quadraro 102 (Tuscolano neighbourhood).
