With the projection of “Affresco,” a video documenting the experience of “2R - Reset&Recode”
Rome Provincial Adult Education Centre 3 is promoting the “Open CPIA: CPIA Tells Its Story” (Oct. 5-7) at the school's headquarters, in Palazzo Fieschi Sora, on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II 217 .
It is a real three-day open day to describe and present the reality of the CPIA to a wider audience: future students, researchers, experts, the world of volunteer associations, politics, journalists, and teachers.
The open days present the many experiences carried out in recent years by Cpia3, including workshops, theatrical performances, participation in literary and cinematographic competitions, creative IT and digital courses, music. The activities do not only involve Italian students, but also individuals from around the world – immigrants, embassy officials, nuns, migrants, prisoners – who attend the school and received training, not only from a linguistic point of view, but also for skill enhancement and orientation, as well as hospitality and integration. The classrooms, on the third floor of Palazzo Fieschi Sora, will host multimedia installations, spaces for discussion and debate, theatrical, artistic, and musical performances, exhibitions, and meeting opportunities for all participants.
The event opens this afternoon at 3pm and the first day will be entirely dedicated to the presentation of the educational experiences carried out at Cpia3.
Tomorrow (Friday, October 6, 10:00-19:00) will be dedicated to the important external experiences of Cpia3 with associations, centres, non-profit organizations, and penitentiary institutions. The screening of the poetic short film “Affresco” by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is scheduled. The video was created as part of the 2R-Reset&Recode Project - Digital Skills for the Reintegration of Young Prisoners with Cpia3 student inmates at the Regina Coeli and Casal Del Marble penitentiary institutes. The short will be presented by Adriana Gagliardi, project coordinator, former Regina Coeli teacher, Ilaria Graziano, project coordinator and project manager of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, and Matteo Viscogliosi, expert in Steam disciplines.
