At the presentation of the TeleMouse 3.0 Award – Knowledge Volunteers promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Telecom Italia, and sponsored by the Ministry of Youth, a large timeslot was dedicated to the experiences of schools and elderly centres in Rome. Young volunteers, school administrators, professors, grandparents and the presidents of elderly centres recounted their experiences. We recorded their experiences for you.

Kevin and Immacolata - Itis Pacinotti
"There is no better way of spreading knowledge than learning to teach and share it..."
"The tutor explains things as you would like to hear them … even if you’re a slow learner..."

Gindulin - ITC Matteucci
"It was a spectacular two-way learning experience!"

Bruno - IP Verne
"I want to be a volunteer."

Ilaria, an Agesci volunteer at the Annini - Villa Lais Elderly Centre
"It’s a beautiful experience for whomever would like to volunteer!"

Flora Longhi, Headmaster, Istituto comprensivo "Via Laparelli"
"Subjects are just a compass … learning about the world of technology means moving forward..."

Emilia Pfush, Professor at the Istituto professionale Verne
"The students already surprised us before the first lesson … seeing these problematic children working seriously with an elder and not moving for two whole hours... "

Bianca Maria Ruggeri, President of the Torre Spaccata Elderly Centre, Internet Corner Telecom
"TeleMouse has made our elders younger!"

Rosario Mocciaro, President of the Parco Schuster Elderly Centre, Internet Corner Telecom
"We are especially grateful to Telecom Italia who has provided us with these tools. I hope this experience will continue or we would be sorely disappointed!"

Bruno Policiti, President of the Casa Bernocchi Elderly Centre, Internet Corner Telecom
"The elderly centre is not a warehouse for useless things … Thanks to the Internet Corner Telecom, the centre has become a “factory” … come see!"
