Arturo Baroncelli, Comau Robotics, Advisor to the Italian Robotics Society and Vice President of the International Federation of Robotics, will participate in the Robotics and Work Conference that will be held on March 21 (11:30 am) at the Rome Città Educativa and at the Jobot Matching Day on March 22 at the Rome Campidoglio.
We interviewed him to find out more about his ideas:
“At RomeCup 2013 Comau Robotics will present a robot that merges technology with Italian tradition: SMART 5 SiX can paint the Monalisa” explains Baroncelli. “With regard to Robotics and work, I can definitely say that Robotics is a formidable tool to innovate products and processes that cannot be obtained with other devices. In some cases, we can even create entirely new products thanks to creativity and technology.”
In December 2012, the International Federation of Robotics presented the Robot Create Jobs Report in Chicago. Robots will create more than a million jobs by 2016 according to the IFR.
