Thanks to distance learning labs, a group of students at the Istituto d’istruzione superiore Guglielmo Marconi in Nocera Inferiore (Salerno) grew interested in the possibilities provided by artificial intelligence and, in particular, to a chatbot that can simulate a conversation with a human being. With the help of their teacher, Giovanni D’Ambrosio, the students developed an intelligent software application that can help elders shop on-line.
