Martina and Sabrina, who attend the last year of primary school, are at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Robotics Centre to learn how to build and programme small robots.
They are working with the Lego WeDo Kit that allows them to different animals with the small bricks … a ferocious lion, a starved alligator, a flying bird and more. And they are learning to programme the animals’ movements.
Eleonora Curatola interviewed Martina and Sabrina while they were building a lion with coloured bricks, which they will then animate by programming it.
The lab was held at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym as part of the All Digital Week European Campaign, promoted by All Digital, the organisation that represents the most important European Networks working with new technology. The campaign (March 19-25) addresses the commitment of agencies, institutions, organisations and research centres to promote digital competences, especially amongst the young.
