The network of collaboration between Fontem and Rome continues to expand. Thanks to Project Digital Bridge, coordinated in Cameroon by Martin Nkafu*, dreams that seemed impossible are now being transformed into reality.
Three young women have recently arrived in Italy. Atem Jeah Clister, Ngegah Asanga Mathilda, Sonhia Rosetta are Italian teachers in Cameroon. They are now in Perugia attending an Italian language and culture summer course. This experience is being followed by Maria Sprega, a teacher at Itis A. Merloni in Fabriano, the school that is twinned with the Menji GTHS Institute in Fontem.
The three African teachers will be in Italy until September 5. They hope that this opportunity will allow them to meet teachers and students at the Roman schools during the first days of September.
* Martin Nkafu Nkemnkia is a Professor of African Culture, Religion and Philosophy at the Pontificie Università Gregoriana and Lateranense in Rome.
