A volunteering opportunity as part of the Fattore J project
As part of the Fattore J project, students from Latina have the opportunity to put their skills and core values into practice through volunteering this year. In collaboration with the local branch of the Italian Association Against Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma (AIL), the young people can support the fundraising by distributing solidarity eggs, an initiative that combines training, active citizenship and support for onco-haematological research.
The activity is open to 15 students interested in gaining practical experience in the world of volunteering. After a training session to learn more about the role of associations in the health sector and how fundraising works, the participants will work alongside Ail Latina operators during the two days of the charity egg sale, which will take place in Latina, in Piazza del Popolo, on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 April, with four-hour shifts between 10am and 7pm.
How to participate
- Training session
- 3 April, 3-4 pm, at the Ail Latina headquarters
- Solidarity egg sale
- 5 and 6 April, Piazza del Popolo, Latina (four-hour shifts)
Students can participate in one or both days and, depending on the commitment made, obtain recognition from 6 to 10 hours for the Pathways for Transversal Skills and Orientation (Pcto).
An opportunity to put yourself to the test, contribute to an important cause and develop transversal skills, from teamwork to effective communication. A small gesture can make a difference!
