STEAM in Virtual Classrooms

The health emergency has not stopped Microsoft’s collaboration on Project Ambizione Italia for Schools. A new educational programme has been developed to meet the needs imposed by distance learning with a focus on STEAM subjects and artificial intelligence. Starting yesterday, virtual classrooms on the Teams Live Events Platform have allowed students, teachers, parents and adults to meet to learn about the conscientious and inclusive use of technology.

The programme, developed together with coaches from the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, will also involve Microsoft Italy volunteers participating in the Give Campaign.

The content of the 24 60-minute educational sessions have been conceived for specific age groups, but participation is open to everyone. The modules are based on 45 minutes of activities followed by 15 minutes of Q&A.

The weekly appointments are as follows:

  • Mondays, 3-4 pm, primary school
