Someone has defined them as the strangest state exams of all times … Today, 500,000 students will sit the exam that for the first time will be held in just one session – a socially distanced oral examination – for the Covid-19 health emergency.
According to the new directives published by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), "all credits and the final grade will be based on the student’s progress throughout the year. In order to do this, the credit for the final three-year period has been increased from 40 to 60 credits. The oral examination will allow them to earn up to 40 more credits. The final grade will be expressed out of one hundred, with honours if applicable."
