Even the young students in class 3A at the Salvo D'Acquisto school at the Istituto comprensivo Viale dei Consoli 16° have earned their digital agents badge as social superheroes. Now, they are officially part of the #MissioneNonni Team, the mini-course for children organised by Fondazione Mondo Digitale for TIM’s Maestri d'Italia Programme. On Mondays, teacher Cristiana Zambon [@ritaglidiclasse] explains children aged 7-10 how to use technology to help their grandparents keep in touch during this period of physical distancing.
After having learned to use WhatsApp, explored YouTube and Raiplay, e-book platforms and having helped their grandparents to find safe information on-line, next Monday, May 11, their teacher will introduce them to social platforms where friends and family can meet in virtual squares and where the only protective masks are privacy and data security.
Next week, children from four primary schools will be on missions:
- Classes 3-5 at the Istituto comprensivo Via Poppea Sabina in Rome, diricted by Stefania Forte
- Classes 3A and 3B at the Salvo D'Acquisto School and Class 5A at the Puccini School of the Istituto comprensivo Viale dei Consoli 16 in Rome, with Head Mistress Alessia Lo Bosco and their teachers
- Class III C at the Don Albera School of the Istituto comprensivo Rita Levi Montalcini in Rome, with Head Mistress Maria Pia Foresta and teachers Cinzia and Annalisa
- Class 2B at the San Biagio School of the Istituto comprensivo in Codogno with teacher Luisa
