At IIS Archimede in Catania, the members of the robotics team have just finished their oral exams and can now concentrate entirely on their preparation for RoboCup Junior, which will be held in Nagoja (Japan) on July 27-30, 2017.
After conquering the Italian title and qualifying for the World Robotics Championships in Japan at RomeCup 2017, Vincenzo Catalano and Giovanni Mirulla also won the Robotic Olympics (Milan, May 23) with Project Self Orientating Neck Natural Yarn (S.O.N.N.Y.).
Now, together with Coach Domenico Ardito, they are off on a prize-trip to London to visit the “Robots” Exhibition at the Science Museum.
Besides Vincenzo and Giovanni, the team also includes Gioele Pidalà and Coach Renato Mangano.
Here’s an interview by Fiammetta Castagnini after their victory at RomeCup 2017.
